The Worthiest of All Currencies And Most Valuable Of All Assets

You know I came to a realization at this point in my life. I don’t know the reason or the motivation behind it but I know that my perspective has changed.

I was thinking about our currency and how we are all so attached to it mentally and even emotionally, we are so attached to it that at times we give away our real currency to get what we think is more valuable which is of course money. What we give away is our time. That’s right we trade our time for money, and we have to otherwise we wont be able to survive, provide for our families and so on and so forth.

Nowadays money has taken over our time so much that we don’t even know how it vanishes in a blink of an eye. Our times are valuable, but we don’t care anymore.

And what do we do with that money when we finally have it? Most of us spend it on stupid, useless things to make ourselves forget how we are giving away our time. What a vicious circle it is – investing in useless assets the currency that we have earned with one of our most valuable things in this life – our time.

You want to know what the most valuable asset is in this world? It is YOU my friend. That’s correct it is yourself that you have and it is yourself that you need to invest in not in taking your mind to a wonderland to forget the reality.

All I have is myself. All I really have is time. It is up to me to invest my time into myself. Read books, learn about the world, learn about the history, learn science, learn about your ignorance and learn about the truth.

I am NOT saying that investing your time in getting money is evil or even bad. All I am saying is that we need to prioritize our goals – money comes second YOU come first.

Time is the worthiest currency of all and you are the most valuable asset there is. Don’t waste your time, don’t waste yourself.

I’m guilty of giving money too much importance in life as well. Money is symbol to so many things in the age that we live in, so it’s very hard to not make such a big deal out it. Respect, leisure, and even love to a degree is all tied to money, because we live in a society that doesn’t make anything possible without money. Even so I should take more of my time to better myself and stop obsessing over money so much, but the world makes that quite tough.
